＊In April of 1919 (Taisho 8), the Xia-Kunshen Branch of the Tainan Salt Pan Public School was established.
＊In April of 1921, it was established as an independent school and renamed Xia-Kunshen Public School.
＊In April of 1943, it was renamed Tainan City Zhensha Public School.
＊After Taiwan's restoration on October 24th, 1945, Principal Yoshio Sugahara was repatriated to Japan.
＊Before the restoration, the school had eight principals and graduated a total of 525 students over twenty-three classes.
＊Since Taiwan's restoration, the school has experienced eighty more graduating classes, bringing the total to 103 classes in all.
＊The current principal is Li,Chi-jung; the chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association is Chiu,Shu-yuan; and the president of the teachers' industrial union branch is Kao Ching-yi.
